Family Promise
As a part of community outreach, Our Saviour supports Family Promise of Moore County, a 501c3 organization which provides shelter, food, and opportunities for families experiencing homelessness or financial insecurity achieve sustainable independence supported by community-based response.
Those eligible for these services include mothers and children who are without housing or who will be without housing in the near future, employed or able to find work in the near future, not currently using drugs or alcohol, or suffering from an untreated mental illness.
Our Saviour participates, on a rotational basis, to provide overnight hosts and family-style dinners for the mothers and children housed within the Family Promise shelter. OSLC members can participate by providing all or part of a meal or volunteering to spend a night on property as a host.
